After months of anticipation, when a family welcomes a new member, it’s time to capture these moments through the lens so they can bring you joy for years to come.
Newborn photography can take place in a photo studio in Domžale or in your home, where the newborn feels most comfortable.
I photograph the baby in natural positions, in your arms, during feeding and cuddling. This creates spontaneous photographs of the newborn and the family.
I photograph the baby alone and also with newborn photography props, which add a lovely touch to the images. I have a knitted Moses basket, a newborn nest, a blanket, and a small toy available.
Preserve a memory of this period with professional photographs that will remain a beautiful keepsake for the whole family.

At-home newborn photography - price
Newborn photo session takes place in your home, in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
The order of photographing is flexible, as I fully adapt to the rhythm of your family and the newborn. In my work I am simply an observer, documenting the flow of your family day.
The session takes place in the morning hours in natural light. I recommend a larger space with plenty of natural light, such as a bedroom or living room.
I will bring props for newborn photography. I also suggest you prepare items such as a blanket, pillow, or toy in calm colors (e.g., cream, grey, pastels,...).

Newborn studio photography - price
Newborn studio photography takes place in a photo studio in Domžale, by appointment.
In a relaxed atmosphere, we create spontaneous photographs of the newborn in natural positions. Parents, siblings, and older children can also join the session.
In the studio I have props for newborn photography (a Moses basket, a newborn nest, a blanket, and a small toy). If you wish, you can bring your own props, ideally in calm colors (e.g., cream, grey, pastels,...).

A timeline photo package of pregnancy, newborn, and toddler at 1 year old – all in one.
The sessions take place in a photo studio in Domžale, always on the same set. In total, you receive 15 professionally edited digital photographs. Your partner and children can also join.

Frequently asked questions
1. When should we book a newborn session?
Send me an inquiry with your expected due date, so we can set an approximate session window. A few days after birth, please let me know and we will agree on the exact day of the session.
2. At what age is the newborn photographed?
A newborn session is best done within the first 3 weeks after birth. At that time, babies still sleep a lot and are usually calmer. I can also photograph an older baby, but later they are more awake and often less cooperative.

4. How long does the session last?
The session lasts approximately 1 hour, depending on the newborn’s mood.
I adapt to the rhythm of your family and the baby’s readiness.
5. How does newborn photography work?
The session takes place in a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
I photograph the baby in your arms, during feeding and settling. I photograph the baby in natural positions and with newborn props. I photograph the baby alone, with mom, with dad, and with siblings.
The order of photographs is flexible and adapted to your family’s rhythm.
6. What should we wear?
The newborn should be dressed in light clothing in cream, beige, or pastel tones.
You will also be in the photographs, so I recommend the whole family wears coordinated colors.
I suggest solid-color outfits:
- light shades (white, beige, grey) or
- pastel colors (yellow, pink, blue...) or
- jeans combined with white
I do not recommend bright colors, strong patterns, or prints, as they draw attention away in the photograph.
7. How do we book a session?
You can send an inquiry with the expected due date to info@andrazgregoric.com or call 031 504 434, and we will arrange the session and details.
8. When will we receive the photos?
You will receive the photos within one week after the session. I will send a larger selection of images, from which you can choose the number included in your package. Additional photos can be purchased.
9. In what format do we receive the photos?
You will receive the selected and edited photos in digital format and high resolution.
On request, I can print the photos or create a photo book.
10. Where are you based, and do you travel?
I am based in Domžale. Distance is not an obstacle. With travel costs, newborn photography is possible across Slovenia (Ljubljana, Gorenjska, Primorska, Štajerska...).
Newborn photo book
Let professional photographs become a beautiful and long-lasting memory in the form of a photo book. I work with a renowned European manufacturer producing high-quality products. You can choose between two photo book versions – with hard fabric covers (available in different colors) or with a photo cover. Printed photographs are protected against scratches. Smaller gift books and storage boxes are also available. If you would like me to design a newborn photo book, let me know and I will share the details. You will receive a preview of the photo book approximately three weeks after the session. Once we confirm the photo selection and final design, the book will be prepared for print.
Printed newborn photographs
Printed newborn photographs can be safely stored in your family photo album and always ready to view. I offer high-quality printed photographs. You can choose between two types of photo paper (glossy or matte) and different sizes:
- 10 x 15 cm
- 13 x 18 cm
- 15 x 20 cm
- 21 x 30 cm
- 30 x 42 cm
Canvas print:
- 30 x 45 cm = 60 eur
- 40 x 50 cm = 90 eur
Other sizes are also possible.
